Silverdale Produce & Hire is a small, family-owned business specialising in stock feed, pet supplies, produce, pool chemicals, and general hire items. We pride ourselves on friendly service, a supportive work environment, and strong community ties.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual who’s ready to kickstart their career or take on a fresh challenge. Full training provided!

Who We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from candidates with experience in produce, pets, agriculture, landscaping, hardware, construction, or similar retail environments—but this is not essential.

What matters most is your attitude: friendly, motivated, and ready to learn.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting customers in-store

• Processing quotes, sales, and customer orders

• Answering phone enquiries

• General administration duties

• Basic bookkeeping, including data entry, invoicing, deposits, and chasing payments

• Supporting day-to-day store operations as needed

What You’ll Bring

• A positive, outgoing personality

• Strong customer service skills

• A “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn

• Ability to interact confidently with a wide range of customers

• Safety awareness and reliability

• Desire to grow within the business and develop your skills
