The Role

Reporting to the Coordinator Transport Operations based in Wilberforce, the purpose of the IPO – Transport Operations position is to undertake field work associated with construction and maintenance projects. The position is responsible to operate intermediate plant in a safe and efficient manner whilst ensuring satisfactory completion of projects.

About You

You will have prior experience in the construction / maintenance industry, including experience operating plant machinery. You will have a positive, team focused attitude with excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to operate in a safe manner, in line with WH&S policies and procedures.

Essential Criteria

  • Class MR Drivers Licence
  • Experience in Operating Plant Equipment
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices
  • Physically fit to suit the requirements of the role
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • WHS General Induction for Construction Work in NSW
  • The right to live and work in Australia
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Successful applicants will be required to undergo background (police) checks and medical declaration

  • Traffic Controller / Traffic Management certified
  • Chainsaw Operation certificate
  • Confined Spaces Entry certificate
  • Road Roller Safety certificate
  • Asbestos Awareness certificate
  • ChemCert
