Calvary Riverina Hospital:
Calvary Riverina Hospital provides a range of services to the Riverina community. This includes our Surgicentre, Drug and Alcohol Centre as well as our maternity and women's health services.
About You
We are looking for a Dual Registered Nurse and Midwife who has experience in antenatal, postnatal, birth suite, special care and an interest in women's health (gynaecological and breast surgery).
You will be responsible for the providing safe, effective and appropriate care in a patient-focused environment. The role is available on a flexible basis either full time, part time or casual.
Key Responsibilities
Practice in accordance with Calvary and relevant government health polices and procedures, the position description, code of conduct and industrial agreements.Giving direct antenatal care to mothers Giving direct postnatal care to mothers and newborns in Calvary's maternity unitProvide specialised care to babies who require additional support and monitoring following their birth.Hands on experience in labour and delivery support, and documentation.Giving direct care to all patients on St Gerard's ward (woman's and children) and using a patient centred approach to patient assessmentMaintaining Continuity of care for each patient
What You Bring
Current registration with AHPRA as both a Nurse and a Midwife. Only those who have an AHPRA as both a Registered Nurse AND Midwife will be considered. Demonstrated experience in antenatal, postnatal, birth suite and special careBachelor Degree in Midwifery or equivalentDemonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary teamA desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
