About the Role

  • Plan and prepare meals that meet dietary and allergy requirements

  • Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety

  • Support food-related learning experiences with the education team

  • Stay up to date with food regulations and nutrition guidelines

  • Work calmly and professionally in a fast-paced environment

About You

  • Passion for preparing nutritious meals for young children

  • Cert III in Commercial Cookery (Cert III in Early Childhood desirable)

  • Experience managing a kitchen and catering to dietary needs/allergies

  • Knowledge of HACCP and Australian Nutrition Foundation guidelines

  • Valid Food Safety and/or Food Handling Certificate

  • Strong team player with great communication skills
