We are currently seeking passionate and reliable Disability Support Workers in Chirnside Park area to join our growing team and make a genuine difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred support to NDIS participants based on individual care plans
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks including personal care, showering, grooming, and dressing
  • Support with household tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
  • Facilitate community access, social outings, and recreational activities
  • Assist with mobility and transfers using safe manual handling practices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date progress notes and incident reports
  • Support clients in building life skills, independence, and achieving their NDIS goals
  • Ensure all services are delivered with respect, empathy, and cultural sensitivity

Requirements

  • Cert III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months experience as a support worker (preferred). Must have experience supporting children with complex behaviours.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination (as per government guidelines)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work across different shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Desirable

  • Manual handling and medication administration training
