About the Company:
Our government client is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join their frontline service team on a contract. Based onsite in Mittagong, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-facing environment, enjoys helping others, and has strong communication and technical capability.
You'll be part of a team that supports members of the public with a wide range of enquiries - providing clear guidance, processing requests, and ensuring every interaction reflects the organisation's commitment to exceptional service.
About the role:
- Provide high?quality customer service across a range of enquiries
- Support customers with digital transactions, system navigation, and routine processes
- Communicate clearly via phone, email, and in?person interactions
- Manage information with accuracy and maintain service standards
- Use multiple systems, applications, and platforms confidently
- Apply strong written communication skills in email and message responses
- Contribute to a supportive, high?performing service centre environment
About You:
- 2-3 years of customer service experience (call centre, retail, admin, office support)
- Excellent verbal and written communication - clear, professional, and confident
- Intermediate computer skills, including Typing and data entry, navigating multiple screens, and strong email etiquette.
- Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and the broader MS Office Suite
- Tech savvy and quick to learn new systems and processes
- Previous government experience is beneficial but not essential
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a customer-first mindset
