Competitive Salary: $2936.50 - $4547.33 per fortnight ($76,584 - $118,635 yearly, incl. superannuation)Five Weeks of Annual Leave - More time for what matters mostJob Security: Ongoing employment with career progression opportunitiesDiverse Work Locations: Choose from centres across QueenslandPaid Training: Receive a 10-week, fully paid training program to prepare you for successFormal Qualification: Successful applicants will be required to enrol in, and complete, a Certificate III in Correctional Practice (Custodial) as part of their employment (Delivered by Queensland Corrective Services RTO# 5292)Uniforms & Meals Provided: We'll take care of the essentials so you can focus on what you do bestRelocation Assistance: Up to $7,000 for eligible recruits willing to move to our regional centres (Capricornia Correctional Centre - Rockhampton, Townsville Correctional Centre - Townsville, Lotus Glen Correctional Centre - Mareeba)Please note: Custodial Correctional Officers working in correctional centres attract an aggregated shift allowance of 31.5%. Custodial Correctional Officers working within Courts Unit do not attract aggerated shift allowance as these roles are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
