Rockhampton Hospital provides high-quality maternity services to both public and private patients and serves as the primary referral hospital for Central Queensland, supporting more than 1,200 births annually. The service delivers comprehensive care for women with low, moderate, and high-risk pregnancies.

About the role:

The Clinical Midwifery (Clinical Coach) plays a pivotal leadership role within the maternity team, providing day-to-day leadership, support, and education across the maternity service while actively contributing to safety and quality initiatives. The role includes the supervision, guidance, and support of Student Midwives, Graduate Midwives, and newly appointed staff to ensure safe, high-quality, and consistent maternity care.

About you:

Registered Midwife, current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Authority (AHPRA). While not mandatory, a relevant post graduate qualification would be well regarded. While not mandatory, at least five years clinical experience in the Maternity setting is highly regarded.

What we offer:

Total monthly remuneration value of up to $11,321 p.m. is comprised of:

An hourly rate between $56.08 - $60.05 p.h. 12.75% employer superannuation contribution17.5% leave loading
