Southern Cross Beachfront Holiday Apartments a well-established accommodation business offering high-quality serviced apartments to short holiday guests. Our team takes pride in maintaining excellent service standards and ensuring every guest enjoys a comfortable and welcoming stay.

 

We are now seeking an experienced Hotel Service Manager to oversee daily operations and lead our service team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

 

This is a permanent, full-time position, offering a salary of $73,000 to $78,000 (per year), based on your level of experience.

 

 

We are a husband and wife team who have been dedicated to the hospitality industry for over 25 years. We have a strong focus on customer service and ensuring our customer demands and expectations are exceeded.

 

Your duties will include:

 

· Oversee daily rooms operations including housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services

 

· Build and maintain strong relationships with Unit owners, travel partners, and outside contractors.

 

· Implementing service strategy to enhance safety, performance, communication, and engagement for both holiday letting pool and owner occupied residents.

 

· Handle guest feedback and resolve issues efficiently and professionally

 

· Monitor occupancy rates and assist with reservations being inputted and welcome letters being sent.

 

· Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and management to ensure smooth operations

 

· Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards

 

 

The successful applicant must have:

 

· At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within branded hotels, managing front office teams and handling housekeeping departments

· Strong leadership and communication skills

· Excellent organisational and customer service abilities

· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as required

· Ability to live on property as a nominee while the owners are not on property

· Proven ability to drive and improve guest satisfaction
