Our busy clinic in Geraldton is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team on a 12 month parental leave contract starting January 2026.

The role is a full time position working Monday to Friday , between 7:45am-5pm with a 45 minute lunch break. Longer days means this role works a 9 day fortnight!

Role Overview:

As a Medical Receptionist , you will be the first point of contact for our patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
• Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
• Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
• Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation and DVA.
• Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.

You will also have the opportunity to be trained as a contact centre agent to assist as required:

• Answering phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.

Multi-tasking across platforms and managing the appointment calendar

What we’re looking for:

Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.

Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.

Availability to work a Saturday shifts every 6 weeks – either 9am-12pm or 8am-11am.
