Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fifth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing, transport and health care. The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as 'The Food Bowl of Australia' as around 25% of the total value of Victoria's agricultural production is generated in this area.
Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 69,000 and is culturally rich with 17.4% of residents being born overseas. The area has excellent education, recreation, cultural, social and health facilities and tourism is a developing focus for the region.
Leisure Service Officer - Swim Instructor
Hourly Rate: $34.90 (25% casual loading; junior rates apply)

We are looking for enthusiastic and qualified Swim Instructors to deliver engaging, safe and effective swimming lessons to children and adults of all skill levels within our community.
The Aquamoves Swim School operates private lessons Monday to Friday from 9.00am 12:00pm and 3.30pm to 7:00pm, Saturday 9 to 12pm and Sunday 6 to 8pm (every second weekend). The Swim School also offers an extensive School’s Swimming Program, which operates between 10.00am and 2.30pm. All lessons run in line with the Victorian School Terms.
What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine interest in working with children and the community
- Reliability, motivation, and a strong work ethic
- Availability for morning, evening, and weekend shifts
What you need to do:
- Hold a current Swim Teacher Qualification
- A current employee Work with Children Check
- A current CPR qualification
