As we look to expand our operations in QLD and strengthen our onsite maintenance supervision, we are currently seeking applications from experienced Maintenance Supervisors for a Full-Time position at our South Walker Creek project in the Nebo region west of Mackay.
The roster for the role is 8/6 - day shift only. The role will require the Supervisor to be 'on the tools' and work as a Fitter at times.
Indicative pay rate is from $74+ per hour.
Reporting to the Project Leader and Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:Managing all site planned and unplanned maintenanceMaintaining all maintenance parts and service parts stock levelsEnsuring that maintenance is carried out correctlyPlanning maintenance and repairs with Production SuperintendentMaintaining required maintenance records on site,Supervision and leadership of the maintenance work groupMaking sure that work is performed in an efficient and safe mannerBeing involved in continuous improvement initiativesAdhering to all Safety Procedures and Company PoliciesEnsuring machinery/equipment is kept up to OEM specifications and compliant to Site or Company Standards.
ESSENTIAL Skills and requirements include:Trade Certificate (Mechanical)Hand ToolsDriver LicenceHigh level of diagnostic skills and field service fault finding is highly regardedAbility to work autonomously and part of a teamExcellent problem solving skillsComputer literacy and experience using maintenance systemsSafety first approachLeadership qualities and experience leading a team
DESIRABLE skills include:Heavy machinery maintenance experienceRefrigerant Handling LicenceWorking at HeightsS123 and G2 supervisory qualifications
