About The Role
Due to our significant growth, we are looking for dedicated and skilled Support Workers to join our team in Horsley & Kembla Grange. As a carer, you will provide essential support to participants, assisting them with daily tasks and activities to help build life skills and foster connections within the local community.
Every day will bring new and rewarding challenges as you provide support to our participants. Your role will involve a range of responsibilities, including:
- Assisting and guiding participants with household chores.
- Supporting participants in accessing the community to help build their confidence.
- Mentoring participants on appropriate behaviors and social skills.
- Helping participants develop essential life skills.
- Implementing and adhering to Positive Behaviour Support plans and Restrictive Practices, where necessary.
- Assist with personal care.
About You
We require Support Workers to be available for a mixture of day and afternoon/sleepover shifts per week, including weekends.
You will have (or willing to obtain):
- Experience working with disability and/or mental health participants
- First Aid and CPR certificates
- A current Australian Drivers licence (minimum P2)
- A NDIS Worker Check.
- A Working with Children Check
- A current Police Check

Pay: $32.00 – $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 38 per week
