Your new job

You will participate as an electrical team member, by providing technical advice, planning, designing, programming, installing, commissioning and maintaining electrical and electronic equipment including motors, controls, SCADA & instruments to meet relevant specifications, standards and codes.

Provide specialist analysis, technical and support services associated with the automation of treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs and other process infrastructure.

You

Certificate III Electro Technology Systems Electrician or Certificate III Electrical Mechanic;Electrician NSW Qualified Supervisor Certificate;Class C Drivers Licence;Experience in the maintenance of complex switchboards and control apparatus;Demonstrated ability to design, construct and install upgrades to industrial electrical equipment utilised in the water industry.Demonstrated ability to select suitable equipment/items necessary to keep electrical equipment operational.Ability to identify and contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes.Demonstrated mechanical aptitude to perform basic mechanical tasks.Demonstrated ability to prioritise and plan work effectively;Excellent written and oral communication skills;Ability to work as part of a team, work alone and work without supervisionAdvanced computer skills relevant to electrical installations.

The salary range being offered for this full-time position is $3,424.40-$3,854.20 gross per fortnight plus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $89,034.40-$100,209.20 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience).

Council conducts annual performance appraisals which links to the salary system and the ability to incrementally increase salary steps.
