Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Boilermaker role located in Ballarat, VIC. The Boilermaker will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing steel and metal components as per engineering blueprints and specifications. Daily tasks will include performing welding (such as MIG, ARC and oxy-acetylene), inspecting equipment and materials, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Collaboration with team members and active participation in maintaining manufacturing schedules is an essential aspect of this role.
QualificationsProficiency in Welding, including TIG Welding and Oxy-acetylene techniques.Strong skills in Blueprint Reading and interpretation for accurate manufacturing and assembly.Experience and knowledge in Metal Fabrication processes and practices.Attention to detail and a safety-first approach in all tasks performed.Ability to work effectively in a team and adhere to project schedules.Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in Boilermaking / CERT 3 or welding are highly desirable.
