As an Appliance Technician at GC Appliance Service, you will be responsible for providing expert repair and maintenance services for a range of household appliances. This full-time role is based on the Gold Coast QLD and offers the opportunity to become a valued team member, enjoy good working conditions and earn great income.

We would also welcome applications from current apprentices working and training in the appliance repair space.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct diagnostics and repair of major household appliances including Ovens, cooktops, dishwashers.

• Provide excellent customer service and communicate technical issues in a clear and understandable manner

• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all repair work carried out

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of repair processes and procedures

• Collaborate effectively with the wider team to ensure efficient and timely completion of all jobs

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in electrical, refrigeration or appliance repair. Gas qualifications desirable but not essential.

• Hands-on experience as an appliance technician or in a similar role

• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills with the ability to quickly identify and rectify faults

• Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills

• A clean driving record and the ability to travel to customer sites as needed

• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing high-quality work
