Loader Operator

About the Role

Decmil is seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our team on upcoming civil and construction projects. This position plays a key role in supporting site operations, ensuring safe and efficient material handling in a fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a loader (>15T) safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures
• Load, move, and distribute materials as directed by site supervisors
• Conduct pre-start checks and report equipment faults
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Support general labouring and site tasks when required
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality requirements

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience operating loaders over 15 tonnes
• Current Loader ticket / VOC
• Construction White Card
• Ability to work within a team and follow instructions
• Strong commitment to safety
• Previous civil, mining, or infrastructure project experience highly regarded
