About the role

Mattocks Rd Auto Repairs, a leading automotive service provider, is seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Mechanic to join our team in Varsity Lakes, QLD. As a full-time Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality repair and maintenance services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

1. Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems

2. Conducting scheduled maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicles are operating safely and efficiently

3. Completing detailed repair orders and documenting work performed

4. Collaborating with the team to provide exceptional customer service and support

5. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

6. Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field

2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Motor Mechanic, preferably in an automotive repair or servicing workshop

3. Proficient in the diagnosis and repair of a wide range of vehicle makes and models

4. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify and resolve complex issues

5. Excellent communication and customer service skills

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

7. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
