About Us Evoke Living Homes is a well-established, family-owned WA builder specialising in modular home construction. All builds are completed in a purpose-built manufacturing facility close to Perth, offering consistent work, minimal travel, and predictable hours.
Due to a strong and growing pipeline of projects, we are seeking Tilers to join our production team in Northam, WA. The Role Responsible for completing tiling works across modular homes, ensuring all work is delivered on time and to a high standard, in line with Australian building requirements. Success in this role will be measured by:
- Quality and consistency of tiling work
- Turnaround times and adherence to schedules
- Attention to detail and quality control
Scope of Work:
- Reading and working from plans and specifications.
- Measuring, marking, and setting out tiling work accurately.
- Waterproofing and screeding wet areas.
- Grouting, silicone application in wet areas, and final clean-up.
- Working with various tile types, sizes, and patterns.
- Carrying out occasional maintenance or repair work where required.
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and clean, organised work areas.
- Recording time and costs against projects as required.
- Working collaboratively with the production team to meet workloads and schedules.
About You:
- Proven experience in tiling and relevant qualifications.
- Strong understanding of Australian tiling and waterproofing standards.
- Able to interpret drawings and plans confidently.
- Well-organised with good time management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Professional attitude, presentation, and communication style.
- Proactive in identifying issues and working with others to resolve them.
Basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office or similar programs) are helpful but not essential — training and support are provided where required. Why Evoke Living Homes?
