Cladding Creations is experiencing continued growth, and we are seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join our drafting and design division at our Burleigh Heads office.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technically demanding environment, values precision and quality, and enjoys balancing hands-on drafting with collaboration and workflow coordination within a growing team.

Our ideal candidate

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• A minimum of 4+ years' industry experience using AutoCAD and Revit

• Strong experience working with 2D and 3D modelling

• Proven ability to read and interpret architectural drawings (essential)

• Previous experience within the construction industry

• Sound knowledge of architectural building products, with exposure to external façade systems such as cladding, louvers, and windows

• Demonstrated ability to produce detailed and accurate shop and fabrication drawings

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities

• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes

• A professional, reliable approach and a willingness to learn, improve, and grow

Key Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and develop shop drawings and 2D/3D models

• Produce detailed architectural and construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit

• Liaise with Site Supervisors and Project Managers to confirm project requirements and ensure all aluminium cladding specifications are met

• Coordinate with Architects, Builders, Engineers, and suppliers to support project delivery

• Contribute to drafting workflows and continuous improvement within the design team

• Work closely with and guide a small team to achieve targets and KPI's
