About the Role

Monson Logistics are seeking a motivated and reliable Office Administrator to join our Accounts and HR team. This is an entry-level position suited to someone who is organised, eager to learn, and looking to build a long-term career in the transport and logistics industry.

The role supports the day-to-day administration of the office and plays an important part in ensuring payroll, accounts, and employee records are maintained accurately. Full on-the-job training will be provided, and the successful candidate will work in a supportive team environment.

The role can be fast paced at times and would require someone that can work with a sense of urgency and focus.

About the Job

Some of the key responsibilities with this role are:

  • Providing general administrative support to the office, Accounts, and HR teams

  • Assisting with data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records

  • Supporting weekly payroll processing under supervision

  • Assisting with accounts payable and receivable tasks as required

  • Preparing and organising documents and correspondence

  • Maintaining employee files

  • Assisting with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to solve problems as they arise and confidence in decision making situations

  • Excellent oral communication skills

  • Exceptional customer service focus

  • Co-operative team player

  • Ability to operate efficiently in a team environment

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Excellent computer skills are necessary to work quickly and efficiently.

  • Good time management skills and ability to prioritise workload

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines

  • Payroll and accounts experience preferred

  • Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
