Yard Person

DnA Steel Direct, a leading steel supplier in Alice Springs, require a Yard Person to provide essential support to our team, ensuring the efficiency, safety and organisation of our yard. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of our outdoor spaces, facilitating the smooth movement of materials & equipment.

The role will initially be casual, 38 hours per week, with permanent full time being offered after a successful probationary period.

Duties include:

· Customer service

· Deliveries, loading & unloading

· Racking steel

· Cutting steel

· General yard duties

Applicants should possess the following attributes & licences:

· C Class licence minimum

· Forklift or ability to obtain

· Understanding of safe work practices

· Reliability

· Punctuality

· Attention to detail

· Physical fitness

· Working in all weather conditions
