Hays is proud to partner with ACEN Australia in their search for an FP&A Officer to join their Tasmanian team on a permanent full-time basis. ACEN Australia is focused on reducing emissions and accelerating Australia's transition to a renewable energy future. They are currently working on a range of solar, wind, pumped hydro and energy storage projects across New South Wales, Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia in both development and construction.
Your new role
Due to continual growth, this newly created position reports to the FP&A Manager and will operate with a high level of autonomy. You will be based in the Hobart office in Salamanca and employed on a permanent full-time basis. You will work closely with the FP&A Manager to develop cost dashboards, maintain data integrity across reporting systems, and ensure accurate, timely and meaningful reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
As the ideal candidate, you will have a demonstrated background in a similar role within a commercial environment or be seeking your first position in industry from a public practice setting. With a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or Economics, you will have excellent attention to detail, advanced Excel skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a high level of organisation. Strong communication skills are essential to develop key long-lasting internal stakeholder relationships that allow you to do your best work and meet the objectives of this role. You will also be required to undergo a national police check prior to commencement.
