About us:

The Adnulla Nulla service provides a culturally safe and appropriate child and family health service for children from birth to 12 years, parents/carers, and their families. Service scope include:

Child health clinics for growth and development health assessments
Hearing and Vision assessments
Health promotion and health education activities
Immunisation clinic
Hearing clinic
Indigenous school hearing program
Indigenous paediatrics clinic
About the role:

To advance the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Parents, Children and young people and their families using a Primary Health Care Model that incorporates a multi-disciplinary, collaborative care planning approach to meet the individual and family needs working with minimal supervision, with full accountabilities and delegation of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide a high standard of care.

About you:
Appointment, and future increment progression, between paypoints HWF3.1 to HWF3.5 requires:
Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health.
Appointment, and future increment progression, between paypoints HWF3.2 to HWF3.7, or HWF3.8 (limited to employees who meet the requirements of HED 04/23) requires:
Diploma of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care.
No qualification? Applicants without the mandatory qualification are encouraged to apply if they can demonstrate relevant skills and commit to completing the qualification within an agreed timeframe. If appointed, you'll commence at the no-qualification pay point, with full financial and leave support provided to help you complete your studies. Candidates are welcome to discuss this pathway with the nominated contact.
Experience in, hearing health, child and family health and health promotion would be well regarded but not essential.

Under Section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community.

What we offer:

Total monthly remuneration value of up to $10,113 p.m. is comprised of:

An hourly rate between $39.00 - $53.64 p.h.
12.75% employer superannuation contribution
17.5% leave loading
