Humber, Heyday & Halfway is a small group of venues in the heart of Wollongong CBD—ranging from rooftop and cocktail bars to a large-format late-night nightclub.

In 2026, we’re launching something new, and this is your opportunity to be part from the ground up.

We’re looking for a full-time Venue Manager with strong leadership and proven ability to run high-energy, fast-paced service. The primary focus of this role will be managing our nightclub, Heyday.

About the role

You will take ownership of venue operations end-to-end, leading from the front while building a cohesive team culture and driving strong commercial outcomes.

We’re looking for proven experience in:

• Remaining calm under pressure and solving problems in real time during busy periods

• Rostering and proactive staff management, including effective security coordination

• Strong cost control, efficiencies, and accountability across service delivery

• A positive, creative approach and strong contribution to a collaborative leadership team

• Comprehensive operational capability—from open to close, including pre-service preparation and post-service wrap - risk management and coordination.

• A plus if you're interested in live music & entertainment.
