Position Overview

Position Title: Uniform Shop Manager

Employment Basis: Part-time, term time only (additional two-weeks at the start of Term One)

Hours per Week: Total 26 hours available (with additional hours during peak periods).
The Role
The Uniform Shop Manager is responsible for the efficient and professional operation of the College Uniform Shop, ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance with College policies. This role oversees stock management, ordering, inventory control, financial reconciliation, and staff supervision. The Manager plays a key role in maintaining the College’s brand through uniform presentation and supports the College community by providing a welcoming and service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the Uniform Shop, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stocktakes, and maintain accurate records.

Maintain relationships with suppliers.

Process transactions accurately and reconcile daily takings.

Train, supervise, and support Uniform Shop Assistants.

Prepare monthly reports and maintain compliance with College accounting procedures.

Provide professional and courteous service to students, parents, and staff.
Selection Criteria
-
Proven experience in retail management, including stock control and merchandising.

Strong administrative skills, including reconciliation and reporting.

Leadership ability to supervise and support staff effectively.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in information technology and Point of Sale systems (Microsoft Office and TASS experience desirable).

Have, or willing to obtain a current First Aid Certificate and valid Blue Card.

Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods.
