Experienced Freight Forwarder - Full time

Burleigh Global Logistics (BGL) is a fast-growing International Freight Forwarder based in the heart of Burleigh Heads. We partner with many well-known local and international brands, and are renowned for delivering superior customer service along with tailored logistics solutions.

BGL is looking for the right Freight Forwarder to join our team, someone with demonstrated and direct International Freight Forwarding experience, who is eager to embrace all aspects of the business and contribute to our dynamic growth.

Duties Include;

. All Freight Forwarding tasks includingcreation of import and export documentation

including bills of lading, ERA’s, EDN’s, PRA’s,

. Use of Freight Forwarding software systems i.e., CargoWise

. Liaising with clients, suppliers, overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, and transport

companies

· Assisting customers with import/export enquiries and bookings (air and sea)

· Preparing quotations for customers

· Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time

· Invoicing

· Coordinating with international suppliers and agents

· Supporting warehousing operations

· Operating forklift when required

· Networking and building industry relationships

· Participating in ongoing on-site and off-site training

The right applicant will have;

· Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience as an International Freight Forwarder

with direct and demonstrated Freight Forwarding experience in Australia

· Cargowise software experience essential

. Must reside on the Gold Coast/Brisbane region, Australia

· A strong focus on providing consistent, superior customer service

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)

· Valid driver’s licence

· Willingness to learn, develop, and grow within the business

· Initiative, reliability, and a positive “can do” attitude

· Genuine care for customers and pride in your work

· Ability to work well within a team as well as independently

· Professional, dependable, and a strong representative of our business
