We are a growing fencing company seeking a reliable Trades Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working outdoors, and being part of a skilled trade environment.

About the Role

As a Trades Assistant, you will support our fencing installers across a range of projects including residential, commercial, and industrial fencing. No two days are the same, and full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with installation of fencing and gates
• Loading, unloading, and transporting materials
• Mixing concrete and setting posts
• Using hand and power tools safely
• Maintaining a clean and safe worksite
• Following instructions from leading hands and supervisors

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
• Basic tool knowledge (preferred but not essential)

Requirements

• Current driver’s licence (essential)
• Construction White Card (essential)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (if required)

Pay: $27.31 – $43.24 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
