We are looking for a Qualified Automotive Mechanic to join our small family-operated workshop located in Winnellie (Darwin)

Task and Responsibilities

• Inspect, service and repair on a wide range of vehicles, including 4wd's

• Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles

• Conduct scheduled maintenance services, including oil and filter changes, all fluids checked/changed, all pressures checked, tyre pressures checked

• Repair and replace worn and defective parts

• Check vehicle brakes, steering parts, suspension, shock absorbers, cooling system

• Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy

• Have a great work ethic and be self-motivated

• Ability to work independently and also well with the team

Qualifications and Experience

• Holds Certificate III in Automotive (Mechanical – Passenger / Light Vehicle)  

• Diagnose skills and experience with scan tools

• Ability to detect, diagnose and repair faults
