About the Unit

The Medical Imaging service delivers a wide range of diagnostic imaging and interventional services across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service.

The department provides a Level 6 Medical Imaging service at Southport (Gold Coast University Hospital) and a Level 4 service at Robina Hospital with satellite imaging services at Varsity Lakes Day Hospital and Tugun Satellite Hospital.

About Your New Role

The CT Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of CT services, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centred imaging services. The role provides clinical leadership, supports workforce capability, and works closely with senior leadership to meet service priorities and performance targets.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver high-quality CT services across GCHHS in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Use specialist expertise to resolve complex clinical and workflow challenges within CT
Drive development of CT professional standards, policy, and clinical excellence
Provide leadership, supervision, and training to CT staff and students
Monitor quality, performance, and equipment to ensure safe, efficient CT delivery

Qualifications and Experience

Tertiary degree in Radiography
AHPRA Registration
Have, or be able to have, a Use Licence for Diagnostic Imaging issued by Radiation Health, Queensland.
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Permanent full time
Permanent part time
Base salary ranging from $144 991 - $151 289 per annum, $73.13 - $76.30 per hour
