The Position: 

Michael DePinto Airconditioning & Refrigeration (MDAC&R), a well established family owned HVAC business require the services of a Mechanical Plumber or a Skilled & Experienced Chilled Water Pipe Installer to join our Installation team. We need an experienced person to work with our existing installers, to give additional guidence & assistance in the area of Chilled Water installation.

Contract Pipe Installation Companies are welcome to contact managment as well.

MDAC&R has several Chilled water projects commencing in January 2026 & will run for several months across a variety of sites with in Mackay. All sites are existing with no Wet Cement work. No Building sites. Some of the projects will run concurrently so variety is assured. Materials used will be a mix of Copper Pipe & fittings as well as CoolFit4.0.

The sucessfull applicant will work within an existing team of Plumbers, Skilled Labourers & AC Installers. Great supportive team culture right throughout the group. This includes Refrig Technical, Administration & Managment.

To help assist you to make the move to Mackay to join our team we are providing subsidised Worker Accommodation in a airconditioned fully furnished house and or Relocation Assistance- conditions apply.

What we offering:

• 2- 3 Months Contract. May run over planned schedule. Flexable Employment Options including: Subcontract; Casual & Permanent Casual to suite your personal situation. Permanent position will be considered for suiteably qualified persons after the completion of the existing contracts

• Remuneration will depend on the skills & experience of the applicants and the basis of the engagement.
