 About the Role

We are currently seeking a friendly, enthusiastic Retail and Oyster Shop Attendant to join our Tasmanian team, Cameron of Tasmania. In this role, you will be the face of Yumbah’s oyster bar and retail store, ensuring every customer enjoys a premium experience. You will support daily operations through excellent customer service, accurate stock and sales management and maintaining a clean, safe and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Open and close the store according to procedures, ensuring readiness for trade.

• Process cash, EFTPOS, and credit card transactions accurately; reconciling at the end of shift.

• Set up and maintain appealing product displays.

• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, counters, tables and equipment throughout shifts.

• Assist with restocking, stock rotation and monitoring use-by dates to minimise waste.

• Follow food safety and hygiene practices in line with company standards.

• Support in-store promotions, tastings and seasonal events.

• Communicate clearly with team members and contribute to a positive team environment.

• Comply with health and safety policies and proactively identify potential hazards.

Desirable Qualifications

• Barista skills and experience.

• RSA certification, or willingness to obtain.
