Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on leadership and support to drivers and yard staff during daily operations
• Assist with coordinating routes, workloads, and operational priorities
• Operate a range of company waste‑collection vehicles and equipment, including various lift systems
• Deliver collected waste to nominated recycling and disposal facilities
• Complete daily pre‑start inspections and routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
• Safely load and unload trucks in accordance with company and regulatory standards
• Maintain professional client interactions and uphold high levels of service and safety
• Required to conduct safety audits and assessments, as needed.

Skills & Experience

• Unrestricted Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence (Essential)
• Prior Waste Experience
• Proficient computer/laptop skills
• Strong work ethic
• Commitment to safety
• Mechanical aptitude
• Excellent customer service skills
