Our rapid growth and the success of our products in our region has opened an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Service Technician to join our Victorian based team.

This full-time role is suited for that outstanding candidate who is eager to excel and is driven to exceed expectation. The right person will have adequate customer service skills and mechanical experience preferably in the machinery/earth moving/agricultural industries. They must have good communication, interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, with a passion for success. The ideal candidate will have hands on mechanical experience and practical problem-solving capabilities. 

The Role:

  • Office/workshop and field based role with some travel required.

  • Weekday, 8:30-17:00 (guide)

  • Service and support for RC Slope and Autonomous Mowers, Lamtrac machine, Barko Forestry Mulchers Diamond Mowers mulchers and Skid-lift products  

  • Computer based tasks included logging reports and documents, electronic communication and some diagnostic procedures.

  • Learn as you go from a small but experienced leadership team.

 Key accountabilities and skills:

  • Perform a good mix of hands-on skill, remote service and support and organizational tasks.  

  • Possess mechanical skills (preferable small engine, electrical, diesel or hydraulic)

  • Be willing to operate machinery and equipment for diagnostics, tradeshows, and demonstration days.

  • Communicate with customers and suppliers.

  • Service and support coordination  

  • Engage existing customers as a part of our exceptional follow up after sales services

  • Build and maintain customer relationships.

  • Participating and supporting trade shows, demonstration days and educational programs.

  • Work both autonomously and within a team.

  • Achieving set targets and objectives.

Some Specific Tasks:

  • Diagnosing and rectify equipment issues during warranty periods. 

  • Perform warranty repairs and upgrades on new equipment.

  • Assist with service and support for customers through our network and overseas suppliers.

  • Training, operating, testing and demonstrating equipment.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Current service technician with some experience looking to move forward with their career. 

  • Someone who likes a good mix of being on the tools and handling the technical aspects of diagnostics and organizational tasks.  

  • An ambitious person willing to work with customers and the sales team.
