About the Role

As our Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be the central link between customers, drivers, and management. Your mission: ensure seamless scheduling, efficient dispatching, and outstanding customer service. Reporting directly to the Transport Manager, you’ll manage day-to-day operations with autonomy and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and optimise daily routes for skip and hook lift trucks.
• Schedule bin deliveries, removals, changeovers, and urgent same-day jobs.
• Dispatch trucks and coordinate driver workloads for maximum productivity.
• Monitor bin availability and yard movements to keep operations running smoothly.
• Respond swiftly to changes, delays, or breakdowns to minimise disruptions.
• Maintain accurate job records and operational data.
• Collaborate with drivers and management to ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.

About You

• 2+ years’ experience in logistics, scheduling, dispatch, or transport coordination.
• Background in waste management or construction logistics (highly regarded).
• Confident decision-maker under pressure with strong prioritisation skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service focus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
• Independent, proactive, and adaptable to new systems.
• Knowledge of transport operations or Chain of Responsibility (desirable).
