About the Role

Clever Choice is a successful national organisation supplying flooring solutions to over 400 retail stores across Australia. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and hands-on Trainee Sales & Account Support to join our energetic team.

While this role is advertised under a specific location due to platform requirements, we are open to candidates across Queensland.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in sales and account management within a growing and supportive business. You will receive comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and genuine opportunities for career progression.

What You’ll Be Doing

Based out of our Yatala office and reporting to the General Manager, you’ll work closely with our experienced sales team while learning the fundamentals of the flooring industry.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting senior sales staff with day-to-day sales and account activities

• Learning how to build and maintain strong customer relationships

• Assisting with identifying new business opportunities

• Gaining exposure to pricing, merchandising and product positioning

• Developing product knowledge across Timber, Vinyl, Hybrid, Laminate flooring and accessories

• Visiting customers and stakeholders across South East Queensland

• Assisting with stock checks, product training, visual merchandising and showroom standards

• Strong product knowledge to recommend flooring solutions

• An understanding of flooring installation and maintenance

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in sales and customer service

• Has experience in retail, hospitality, or exposure to floor laying or a similar trade (highly regarded but not essential)

• Is hands-on, reliable and eager to learn

• Has strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

• Holds a current Queensland Driver’s Licence

• Is based in South Brisbane or the Gold Coast (preferred)
