About the role
The role of the Crew Member Pavements will be responsible for competently operating small trucks and other plant items as part of a team and undertaking tasks such as general labouring duties to maintain roads and related assets, including bitumen, concrete, lawn maintenance and drainage work. In addition, this role will see you undertaking traffic control, concreting including formwork, steel fixing and finishing, as well as pipe laying duties.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence
- Current RMS Traffic Controller Certificate (Blue Card)
- Current Construction General Induction card – WorkSafe or equivalent

Other important information
- The commencing salary for this position is up to $58.7K per year. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $68K on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation + allowances
- We have a permanent full-time role available
- This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight
- This role is located at the Charmhaven Depot
- Successful candidates may be required to have vaccinations against Tetanus
