About the Role

The Support Worker at Together in Motion is responsible for the provision of person/family-centred support services that empower people with disability to achieve their potential and live the life they choose.

The Support Worker works under limited supervision with readily available assistance. Employees need to demonstrate person-centred and positive approach to supporting and empowering customers.

Shifts available - Ongoing shifts, 7 hours per day, morning/afternoon shifts.

Compliance requirements

  • Australian citizen or has Right to Work in Australia (must)
  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Personal Care or above (must)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (must)
  • Work with Children Check (must)
  • First Aid Certificate HLTAID011 or HLTAID012 (must)
  • CPR Certificate HLTAID009 (must)
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Support Worker
  • Experience working in SIL house (must)
  • Experience assisting complex clients with behavioural issues
  • NDIS Orientation Certificate
  • Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals
  • COVID-19 Infection Control
  • Manual Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Medication Certificate (must)

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $32.88 – $35.15 per hour

Licence/Certification:

  • Work with Children Check (Required)

  • First Aid Certification (Required)
  • CPR Certification (Required)
