Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Newcastle, NSW, for a Human Resources Officer. The role involves actively managing and implementing HR policies, supporting employee relations, developing job descriptions, and ensuring workplace compliance with relevant regulations. Additional responsibilities include assisting in recruitment, onboarding processes, and fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in HR Management, HR Policies, and core Human Resources (HR) functionsProficiency in Employee Relations with experience in resolving workplace issues and fostering positive relationshipsExperience in developing and maintaining accurate and effective job descriptionsExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsA Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldPrevious experience in an HR officer or similar roleKnowledge of Australian workplace laws and compliance requirements is an advantageAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and build successful partnerships
