2 x 1st, 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice (9 Day Fortnight - RDO Every 2nd Friday)

East Coast Energy Solutions is seeking energetic and enthusiastic applicants to undertake an apprenticeship in August / September 2025. The successful applicants will be based in Cairns and work across the FNQ Region.

Applicants must have completed Year 12 Math's A or B, with sound English and numeracy skills. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in completing an apprenticeship as an Electrician.

Qualification Requirements:

• Provisional or Open - Manual C Class Drivers Licence - Essential

• Working at Heights Qualification - Essential

• Construction Induction Card (White Card) - Essential

• Certificate 2 in Electrotechnology - Preferred but not essential

Essential Work Requirements Include:

• Punctual

• Basic hand and power tools (list to be provided)

• Demonstrated mathematical and technical ability including diagnostic and problem solving skills

• A highly developed sense of responsibility and accountability

• Willingness to follow directions and work in a team environment

• Commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy working environment

• Be able to work at heights & in a hot environment

• Hold a manual drivers licence & construction white card
