About The Role

Supporting the Head Chef at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre by helping plan menus, prepare food, and deliver catering services for a range of events and venues. This includes:

Assist in the preparation of catering requirements for SEC functions, which includes assisting with the preparation of food for large and small events, café, restaurant and buffet services.Perform all general cleaning duties in the catering areas of the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre & off-site kitchensUse of kitchen for food preparation to the appropriate level of safety and hygiene

About You

To be successful in the position, you will have:

Certificate II or equivalent qualification in Hospitality/Catering or related fieldFood Safety Supervisor CertificateWorking With Children CheckClass C Driver's LicenceResponsible Service of Alcohol

This role suits someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment, works well in a team, and brings a positive, hands-on attitude. Strong organisation, good communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure are important. Practical skills in food preparation, safe food handling, and maintaining clean, well-presented work areas will help them fit well within the team and support successful event catering.

This position requires a current NSW Working with Children Check. Applicants are required to apply and pay for this check if not already obtained.
