We are a brand new dental clinic exclusively for children located in Hope Island. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Dental Receptionist/s to join us on this exciting new concept. Ongoing training will be provided to a passionate candidate who wishes to succeed in their dental career.

Proud Smile Junior is the new addition to the Proud Smile group of clinics on the Gold Coast. We are a privately owned clinic, fitted with brand new equipment, technology and computerised systems. Opportunity exists for shared hours with our adult Proud Smile Dental and Aesthetics in Hope Island or other locations.

The Role:

We are looking for a dynamic dental receptionist, with duties including:

• Manning reception, taking payments, answering the phone and general reception duties.

• Managing the books and communicating with clinicians and auxiliary staff

• Communicating with our General Manager for our Proud Smile Clinics

• End of day reconciliations and closing down the clinic

• Start of day huddles and organising the team

• Making sure parents and children are being looked after in reception

• Helping with treatment plan coordination and discussion with parents

What we require:

• Reception experience desired.

• Experience with children highly desired.

• Willingness to work in a children focused environment is fundamental.

• Experience in Dental Assisting in addition to reception is an advantage

• Caring nature, always with a smile on your face, warm friendly personality and eager to learn new skills and techniques.

• Impeccable infection control knowledge and practice. Updates will be provided within the practice.

• The ability to work autonomously, as well as a part of the team, with a mature approach to work, strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to be punctual, reliable, multi-task and flexibility with working hours
