HOOK TRUCK DRIVER

We are currently seeking an experienced Hook Truck Driver to join our recycling company in Pakenham

This is a casual role Monday - Friday with possible work on Saturdays 

Hours are 6.00am-2.00pm and overtime rates apply after 8 hours daily

Your main role will be to deliver and collect Scrap Metal Bins from our Clients in and around Melbourne, with tarping and correct load restraints required. This role would suit a person who enjoys being active and can work both inside and outside the truck. An important aspect to this role is the development and maintenance of great relationships with our clients.

The truck is a Mack and you will also be responsible for maintaining all relevant paperwork and keeping the truck clean and tidy.

Critical Skills and Attributes:

• HR licence (Above this is even better)

• You have experience with tarp loads and restraints.

• An ability to provide outstanding internal and external customer service.

• Highly developed interpersonal skills

• At work on time each day.

• Will work diligently to ensure deliveries are completed as per run-sheet and in order

• You take pride in how you and your truck are presented daily as you represent our brand to the community.

• Forklift licence (Preferred but not necessary)

• You are proactive regarding any maintenance issues with your truck to ensure our services are always on time for our clients.
