Lucette is our French bistro on Bowral’s High Street, in the heart of the Southern Highlands, just 90 minutes from Sydney. We’ve opened strong and continue to build momentum, with a clear focus on French technique, quality produce and consistency.

About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Chef to join our kitchen team at Lucette. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being on the tools, working with good produce and contributing to a well-run service. You’ll support daily operations across breakfast, lunch and dinner and play an important role in maintaining standards during service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard of quality, presentation and consistency

  • Assist with daily prep and kitchen organisation

  • Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene practices

  • Support the team during busy services

  • Contribute ideas for specials and seasonal menu updates

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a fast-paced kitchen

  • A genuine interest in French or European-style cooking

  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and as part of a team

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
