About the business

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Nominated Supervisor to join our  beautiful service at Kurmond. We are looking for a motivated and dedicated early childhood educators to oversee the daily operations of our beautiful service and ensure the delivery of exceptional educational programs. It is a purpose built centre in a natural setting. We have 4 rooms and large outdoor nature based play area. Our centre has a homely feel and it is very warm and welcoming.

About the role

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre and ensuring high quality program and environment is provided to the children and educators.

• Managing the budgets and financials of the center.

• Developing strong and positive relationships with the community, children and the families.

• Ability to supervise, mentor and train staff. 

• Creating a safe and stimulating and positive environment for the development of children.

• Implement and monitor health, safety and risk management strategies.  

• Maintain positive and professional relationships with the team members.

• Managing the compliance of the service in relation to National Law and Regulations.

Skills and experience

1.  Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.

2. Knowledge of EYLF and NQS

3. Strong leadership and management qualities

4. Previous experience in management of the serviced

5. Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate

6. Child Protection Training

7. Good Communication Skills and Ability to work in a team environment.

8. Current Working with Children Check

9. Sound knowledge and understanding of Child Protection
