Down 2 Earth Equipment is a locally owned and growing agricultural and earthmoving equipment business. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Store person / Storeman to join our busy and fast-paced team.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, takes pride in accuracy, and works well as part of a close-knit team.

Down 2 Earth Equipment is your new go-to for heavy equipment sales and servicing in Central Queensland. While the name is new, we're proudly part of the Farm and Garden Group and have merged with REO Heavy Equipment Repairs, meaning we've been supporting the region for over 45 years. We specialise in servicing all types of machinery across the civil, construction and agricultural sectors. Whether you're booked in for a regular service or broken down on site, our experienced diesel fitters are ready to get the job done quickly and properly.

We work on everything from excavators and loaders to tractors and side by sides. No matter the brand or model, we've seen it before and we know how to fix it.

About the Role

Reporting to the Parts Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving, checking, and dispatching stock and parts

• Picking and packing orders for workshop and customers

• Maintaining accurate inventory records

• Stock control and general warehouse organisation

• Loading and unloading deliveries

• Assisting the parts and service teams as required

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly store environment

• Pay will be based on experience

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or store person role (preferred but not essential)

• Australian citizenship is required for this position

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Basic computer skills

• Some hands-on experience with inventory management systems and processes

• Forklift licence (highly regarded but not essential)

• Experience in agricultural, mechanical, or equipment parts environments (advantageous)
