We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Part-Time Educator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys creating a fun, engaging, and caring environment for children.
Conveniently located at Assisi College, we provide care and education for children from six weeks of age and offer a Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Program for children in the year before Prep, catering for up to 59 children.

Hours: Permanent Part-Time opportunities available (up to 25 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
- Participate in professional and personal development.
- You will be pivotal in developing our children's lifelong love of learning.
- Can build a strong rapport with our families, educators, and community.
Job Requirements:
- Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
- A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months -Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment.
- Effective workplace communication skills
- Willingness to take Child Protection Training as required.
