About the role

Mylk Hair Lounge is searching for an experienced and talented Senior Stylist and a 2nd year Apprentice to join our vibrant and growing team in Robina, QLD. As a Senior Stylist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional hair styling services to our loyal clientele, while also mentoring and guiding our apprentice stylists. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career progression within our expanding business.

Candidates must have valid Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing high-quality haircuts, colouring, and styling services to clients

2. Staying up-to-date with the latest hair trends and techniques to deliver innovative and on-trend looks

3. Collaborating with the Apprentice Stylist to provide hands-on training and guidance

4. Contributing to the development of new services and treatments to enhance the client experience

5. Maintaining a professional and welcoming demeanour to build strong relationships with clients

6. Ensuring the salon's high standards of cleanliness and safety are upheld

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior Stylist in the hair and beauty industry

2. Strong technical skills in cutting, colouring, and styling hair

3. Passion for the latest hair trends and a commitment to ongoing professional development

4. Excellent communication and customer service skills

5. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and mentor junior stylists

6. A friendly, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
