YMCA Bowen Hills are recruiting a passionate Customer Service Officer on a Casual basis to join our team located in Bowen Hills

About The Role

As the first point of contact for the centre, your passion for helping people and ability to make others feel welcome will be integral to your success in this role. Those with a genuine interest in fitness, gymnastics and aquatics will thrive in this fast-paced and exciting position as you assist customers with their general enquiries, organise memberships, take bookings and promote the programs and services on offer.

What will my time look like?

Provide expert and friendly service at reception, over the phone and in all written correspondenceProcess new memberships and promote information on the facility, classes and other general enquiriesMake bookings and process paymentsPerform open and close procedures, cash reconciliations and banking duties

Am I a good match?

Previous experience in a similar roleAvailability to work a range of morning, afternoons and alternating Saturdays Demonstrated ability to perform a range of administrative duties, including data and word processing, filing and photocopying, with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlinesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsFamiliarity with POS systems and MS suiteA National Police Check is essential prior to commencing in the role
