Join the Shire of Ashburton as a Cleaning Supervisor and take the lead in keeping our facilities, housing, and public spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. You’ll manage a small team of cleaners and play a hands‑on role in making sure community spaces are looked after and something everyone can be proud of.

This role is about leading by example and supporting your team to do their best work. You’ll provide on‑the‑job guidance, training, and feedback, help organise daily work, and step in where needed to keep standards high. You’ll also work closely with the Facilities Officer to handle simple admin tasks such as keeping records, ordering supplies, and reporting, helping ensure day‑to‑day operations run smoothly.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in commercial cleaning
  • Strong communication and administrative skills
  • Supervisory experience
  • A current C Class Driver’s Licence (mandatory).
